The advantages of growing up in the 1970’s with hippie parents was their focus on values and living purpose-fully. My amazing husband and best friend was also raised with a strong belief system that emphasized making goals and doing lots of planning and work to get there. So, that first January 1st post-marriage, we sat on our little yellow couch in our basement apartment to dutifully scribble down our personal, family and financial goals. That was the start of our annual tradition.

Decades later, it's so rewarding to pull out those first years and see what was accomplished, what changed, and how life’s detours impacted our collective and my personal journey. Let’s face it –here in 2020, life does throw some big, unexpected curve balls to navigate. Sometimes down on your knees.

Our annual goal-setting and planning tradition lead to developing a family mission statement, and recently the penning of my first personal mission statement. I needed help to do so. Despite all of my self-assessments and intentionality in living purpose-fully, I had lost my personal compass. I needed coaching. And, now that journey includes this coaching business and sharing that passion with you.
